Sony today launched the ZV-E10 II, the second generation of its best-selling ZV-E10 mirrorless camera. The ZV-E10 is a key model in Sony’s ZV line, designed to provide a simple, compact and versatile tool for content creators of all levels. The new ZV-E10 II retains all the features that content creators love about the ZV-E10, such as Creative Looks, Product Showcase Setting, Background Defocus function and vari-angle screen, and builds on them to deliver greater refinement and ease of use. The ZV-E10 II’s internal hardware has been improved over its predecessor, with an improved approximately 26-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor and Sony’s latest BIONZ XR image processor. Additional updates to this model include improved autofocus and video recording capabilities. The ZV-E10 II features Cinematic Vlog Setting, a new vertical-format user interface (UI), an improved large-capacity Sony Z battery for improved endurance, and enhanced connectivity for easy live streaming and data transfer. The camera is also compact and lightweight, weighing approximately 377g to fit easily in the content creator’s hand.
Sony also announced the launch of the E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II lens, a compact APS-C power zoom lens available separately or as part of a kit with the ZV-E10 II. This lens is lightweight and offers improved autofocus (AF) and video performance compared to the previous model.

Create your own photos and videos
The ZV-E10 II includes two features designed to help you produce top-quality content: Creative Looks and Cinematic Vlog Setting.
When shooting videos and photos, creators can instantly adjust their footage by choosing from ten Creative Look options: Standard (ST), Portrait (PT), Neutral (NT), Vivid (VV), Vivid 2 (VV2), Movie (FL), Instant (IN), Soft Highkey (SH), Black & White (BW), and Sepia (SE). Each look can be further adjusted via eight different parameters, allowing creators to customize their content. Once adjusted, a creator can save six personal styles in-camera.
The ZV-E10 II also lets creators create high-quality, cinematic videos at the touch of a button using the Cinematic Vlog setting. This feature automatically adjusts the aspect ratio, frame rate, and autofocus transition speed to the optimal settings for cinematic video recording. Additionally, creators can enhance their footage by choosing from five “Looks,” such as S-Cinetone that enhances skin tones, and applying one of four “Moods” that emphasize specific colors.

The most important specifications
The ZV-E10 II has 759-point phase detection Autofocus with real-time Eye Autofocus for tracking people, animals, and birds. Furthermore, this device has an Exmor R CMOS sensor with backlight, which offers an ideal combination of high sensitivity and low noise with an ISO range of 100 to 32000. In addition, you can connect more than 70 Sony APS-C lenses to this device using Sony's E-mount.
Thanks to 5.6K oversampling, this camera compresses a huge amount of information into stunning 4K recordings up to 60p. The ZV-E10 II also allows for a fast readout. The Active Mode image stabilization on this device uses a precision gyroscope and an advanced algorithm to accurately measure and compensate for camera shake. This ensures very effective image stabilization, even with 4K recordings, without hindering your mobility. The ZV-E10 II also features an upgraded large-capacity Z battery (NP-FZ100), enabling continuous movie recording for up to 195 minutes.

Additional features to streamline content creation
New vertical user interface (UI): The ZV-E10 II features a new interface that automatically rotates from horizontal to vertical to streamline vertical content creation. Combined with the vari-angle LCD screen, creators can create and view their content from any angle.
S&Q mode with 5x slow motion: In this mode, the ZV-E10 II can record 4K 60p-120p in crisp XAVC-S Full HD quality.
Product Showcase setting: This setting is ideal for easily recording product review videos with smooth focus transitions from your face to the subject.
Bokeh button: The ZV-E10 II features a Bokeh button that lets you adjust the depth of field with a single press, creating a blurred background.
Face Priority Auto-Exposure: This feature instantly detects faces and adjusts exposure to maximize facial brightness, even when shooting in changing light conditions.
Soft Skin Effect: This effect smoothes skin in images and reduces the visibility of blemishes
A USB 3.2 Type-C (SuperSpeed USB 5 Gbps) port: This type of USB port enables stress-free connectivity and fast wired transfer to a compatible smartphone or laptop via the Creators App, making it easy to edit and share your content on social media.
Time-Lapse sequences: The ZV-E10 II lets you create in-camera time-lapse sequences and set the exposure interval from 1 second to 60 seconds.
Microphone: The ZV-E10 II features an advanced built-in 3-capsule microphone with adjustable directivity (previously introduced in the ZV-E1) for capturing clear, high-quality audio. Users can select “Auto”, “Front”, “Rear” or “All Directions” to specify which direction to record sound from.
Windscreen: The camera comes with a windscreen to reduce noise when shooting in windy conditions
Multi-Interface (MI Shoe): The ZV-E10 II comes with an MI Shoe, so you can easily connect an external microphone for additional audio options if needed.
Livestreaming Function: Thanks to support for 5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, this device enables livestreaming.
Accessibility: Sony’s Screen Reader and Menu Magnification functions are included to provide accessibility solutions so that everyone can use this device.

Sustainability
The ZV-E10 II is made from recycled materials, including SORPLAS, which reduces the impact on the environment without compromising the functionality of the product. The packaging is made from Sony’s unique recycled paper, “Original Blended Material,” which uses materials such as bamboo, sugarcane fiber and recycled paper. Over the past 11 years, Sony has replaced approximately 395 tons of virgin plastic with recycled plastic in its still and video cameras.
